Bees Wrap

In our search for reusable materials for fresh lunches and healthy kitchens, we're often surprised by simple, beautiful solutions that seem natural and obvious once you see them. Bee's Wrap is a brilliant alternative to the rolls and rolls of plastic wrap the typical family goes through every year for lunch prep and food storage.

Bee's Wrap is made from organic cotton muslin, beeswax, jojoba oil and tree resin—the combination of ingredients and the infused fabric create a malleable food wrap that can be used again and again. The simple warmth of your hands (+ a little forming) naturally creates a seal and as the beeswax cools, the material stiffens and holds the seal intact.

Another natural perk: beeswax and jojoba oil have antibacterial qualities that help to keep food fresh. Bee's wrap is recommended for baked goods, cut fruits & vegetables, cheese, and covering leftovers (it's not recommended to let bee's wrap come directly in contact with meat).

How do you care for Bee's wrap?

Simply wash the wrap in cool water with a mild dish soap and allow to air dry before folding into squares and storing in a drawer (like you would with your kitchen towels) or if you prefer, roll and store vertically in a container of choice.

Bee's Wrap is available at MightyNest, in a variety of sizes: A starter pack with one of each of three sizes, sets of three in large, medium and small, a bread wrap, and perhaps the most unique solution of all, a baguette wrap.
